<p>NEET PG 2024: As per the revised schedule, the application process will begin today at 3 pm and the last date to apply is May 6.</p> <p>The board has opened the application window amid protests by the <a href="https://indianexpress.com/article/education/pls-stick-to-old-date-neet-pg-2024-preponement-irks-candidates-9226728/">aspirants to postpone the exam</a>. The exam date advancement has also been a concern for many.</p> <h3><strong>NEET PG 2023: Steps to register</strong></h3> <p>Step 1: Visit the official NBEMS website — <em>natboard.edu.in</em></p> <p>Step 2: Click on the NEET-PG 2024 link that is available on the Home Page</p> <p>Step 3: A redirected page will open, and candidates shall register themselves</p> <p>Step 4: Fill in the application form with the required details</p> <p>Step 5: Make the required payment</p> <p>Step 6: Download the confirmation page for further requirements</p> <h3>Eligibility</h3> <p>— Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate issued by the university affiliated with the Medical Council of India (MCI).</p> <p>— Medical graduates should have a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued either by MCI or the State Medical Council (SMC).</p> <p>— A 12-month rotatory internship must be completed by aspirants</p> <p>— The cut-off date for completion of the internship toward eligibility for NEET PG 2024 is August 15, 2024</p> <h3><strong>Application Fees</strong></h3> <p>As per the latest updates, NBEMS has revised the exam fee for NEET PG. The fee has been reduced by Rs 750 for candidates of all categories. The revised fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 3,500, while for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fee is Rs 2,500.</p> <p>The NEET PG exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 4 marks. Therefore, the total marks for the exam amount to 800. Candidates are awarded 4 marks for each correct answer. However, for every incorrect response, one mark is deducted as a penalty.</p> <p>According to the revised schedule, the results of the postgraduate entrance examination will be declared on July 15, 2024, and the counseling process will start on August 5 and will conclude on October 15, 2024. The new academic session will begin on September 16, and the last date for joining is October 21, 2024.</p>
